Limestone Comedy Festival and Cardinal Spirits present the return of High Proof Laughs: a live comedy series at the distillery featuring emcee Mat Alano-Martin! Because craft cocktails + cracking up is something we could all use a lot more of in 2020. Second Sundays in January, February, and March.
The show on 1/12 will feature headliner Tim Northern, along with Christian Linman, Reed Sedgwick, and Neal Meyer.
Your $5 cash donation at the door will benefit Habitat for Humanity. Doors open at 6pm and close at 7pm when the show starts! Seats fill early. 21+ only.
Mark your calendars for more High Proof Laughs on Sunday, 2/9, and Sunday, 3/8 — all featuring former Limestone Comedy Festival performers and new favorites!

About headliner Tim Northern:
In an art form as diverse in styles as stand-up comedy, Tim Northern pulls off the impressive feat of standing out as something utterly unique. His observations come from unknown angles and his cerebral wordplay finds common ground between the absurd and the everyday. Tim's resume is just as impressive with appearances on Last Comic Standing, Star Search, Just For Laughs, The Bob and Tom Show and Sirius/XM. Additionally he went viral last year with his series of memes trolling BBQ Becky.
About the opening comedians:
Christian Linman is a Bloomington based comedian and a regular at The Comedy Attic. Through the years he has been lucky enough to perform at both the Limestone and Arch City Comedy festivals and work with great names such as Billy Wayne Davis, Geoff Tate, and Sam Morril. When not performing across the Midwest he can be heard over-analyzing Disney movies in the podcast Down With Disney. He has also been told he makes a "great" second impression.
Reed Sedgwick is a gender-queer Louisville comic whose hands were described as “struggling birds” by Louisville Magazine in the announcement that their open mic, Comedy Collider, was Best Open Mic Night of Louisville, 2016. Once, a comedy competition judge told them, “That wasn’t preachy at all.” That’s because Sedgwick writes jokes from an outsider’s perspective that are for everyone to enjoy.
Neal Meyer is a Bloomington based comedian who is not afraid to tackle the tough subjects. Like stating the importance of a denim jacket or discussing why Arby's puts that red sauce on the beef n cheddar. When he's not telling jokes he's watching too much pro wrestling but he promises he's not a weirdo about it.
